Spreading the Message

The National Asthma Council Australia Asthma Media Awards celebrate the important role the media play in asthma education in Australia, acknowledging and rewarding achievement and excellence.

Online entries are now being accepted for the National Asthma Council Australia 2009/10 Asthma Media Awards.

Eligibility

• The Awards are open to any professional journalist who has written or produced
  an asthma-related story or report.



• The story must have been published or aired in Australia during the 2009/10 financial year (July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010, inclusive).



• All styles of reporting are acceptable including news, features and documentary.



• Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by an employer or colleague.



• The winning entries in each category will then be judged to determine an overall National Asthma Council Australia 2009/10 Asthma Media Awards winner.

Terms and conditions

The Awards are only open to professional journalists. Each nomination must be accompanied by a copy of the entrant's work. Entrants' work must be published or aired in Australia within the 2009/10 financial year (1 July 2009 - 30 June 2010).

Please keep copies of all material submitted. Entries will not be returned. Closing date for entries is 9 July 2010. The judges' decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into.
