The National Asthma Council uses a variety of media to provide educational resources for Health Professionals including webcasts.
A webcast is similar in intent to a broadcast television program but designed for Internet transmission. It allows the health professionals to connect to the webcast from the computer of their choice in the most convenient location to receive the program.
Combination Therapy - A Question of Balance
 The third webcast from the National Asthma Council, 'Combination Therapy - A Question of Balance' was presented on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 7.30 to 8.30 pm AEST.
Overview
Combination products for asthma are important for the management of people with moderate to severe asthma. The webcast will include the latest evidence-based answers to crucial questions such as:
What are the clinical indications for prescribing combination therapy? What is the correct dose to start your patient on? How often should you review the dose? How can you use combination therapy to improve medication adherence and quality of life?
