Rethinking Written Asthma Action Plan - Online Workshops
As part of Phase II of the National Asthma Council Australia's ‘Rethinking Written Asthma Action Plan’ project, we're inviting clinicians, policy makers and people with asthma to help us shape the future of asthma care in Australia through a series of online workshops.
While WAAPs have been an integral part of asthma self-management for over 20 years, we know that uptake and usage is less than optimal. It’s time to rethink WAAPs and consider whether the current approach is appropriate and effective for Australia’s diverse population and our evolving health system.
Our ‘Rethinking Written Asthma Action Plans’ project begun with a fact-finding phase, which included a community survey, landscape scan, key informant interviews and focus group discussions with health professionals and people with asthma.
Now we want your help to determine potential actions and priorities which will shape the future of WAAPs. Get involved in the discussion by registering for our online workshop series.
Participants are encouraged to register for all workshops.
Unable to attend a workshop? Register anyway and we'll send you a link to a recording of each workshop to view at any time.
