
The National Asthma Council welcomes Dr Tim Jones to the NAC Guidelines Committee.
Dr Tim Jones is a Tasmanian general practitioner (GP), rural generalist, GP supervisor, medical educator and Primary Health Network Tasmania board director.
Dr Jones is Specific Interests, Child and Young Person’s Health Chair at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Deputy Chair RACGP Tasmania.
The NAC Guidelines Committee is a multidisciplinary team of leading health professionals dedicated to asthma, including primary care clinicians and respiratory specialists.
The development of the NAC's Australian Asthma Handbook recommendations and clinical information is overseen by the NAC’s Guidelines Committee, comprising GPs, nurses, pharmacists and respiratory physicians.
