Asthma management and diagnosis: Updates from the Australian Asthma Handbook
Wednesday 15 July 2026, 7:30–9:00pm AEST

This second webinar in our 2026 series will focus on the updated approach to asthma diagnosis across different age groups, based on the National Asthma Council (NAC) Australian Asthma Handbook.

This includes recognising clinical patterns, choosing appropriate investigations, interpreting lung function, and establishing an accurate diagnosis across different age groups, with opportunities to ask practical questions about spirometry and FeNO.

Led once again by a multidisciplinary panel of Australia's leading asthma experts, this webinar will guide you through diagnostic decision-making, the most significant guideline updates and real-world patient scenarios, to help you accurately diagnose asthma and confidently apply the recommendations within clinical practice.

Presented by:

Ms Adele Berry: NAC Guidelines Committee member and Nurse Practitioner, Complex Asthma
A/Prof Debbie Rigby: NAC Clinical Executive Lead and Advanced Practice Pharmacist
Prof Peter Wark: NAC Guidelines Committee member and Respiratory Physician
A/Prof Greg Katsoulotos: NAC Guidelines Committee member and Respiratory, Sleep and Allergy Physician

98% of participants from our Reshaping Asthma Management webinar in May said they would be ‘likely’ or ‘very likely’ to recommend the CPD activity to a colleague, and described the panel as:

‘a well-rounded, engaging multi-disciplinary panel, highly knowledgeable, experienced, professional and able to communicate complex information clearly and effectively’.
