Education and training

Our renowned education program and webinars are suitable for primary health care and allied professionals.

Asthma and respiratory education program

The National Asthma Council Australia (NAC) is the trusted authority in asthma. We set the standard of care through our responsive and evidence-based asthma guidelines, practice tools and resources and renowned asthma and respiratory education program.

Our high-quality education program and webinars have been running since 2002 and are suitable for primary health care and allied professionals.

A range of options and formats are available including face-to-face workshops and webinars. They are run as single stand-alone sessions, held in conjunction with a host organisation. They are available across Australia, reflecting our commitment to reach urban, regional and remote health professionals.

Education workshops and webinars are facilitated by members of the NAC’s team of experienced respiratory experts, including asthma and respiratory educators, respiratory scientists, general practitioners and nurse practitioners.

One of our most popular workshops is our Spirometry training course for primary healthcare professionals which is RACGP, ACRRM and CPD certified.
